Show Gas Rationing Dates Are Set Under the gasoline rationing program, soon to be inaugurated, all Milford passenger cars must be registered at the local grade school during the afternoon or evening of November 12, 13 or 14, according to information given The News byi County Rationing Director Sam Cline. Because of supplies reaching local rationing boards later than expedted,. the dates, originally set for a few days earlier, have been changed. Trucks will NOT be registered at the school, but must be registered with the Office of Defense Transportation Trans-portation at Detroit, and it must be remembered that only the registered owner of a passenger car may register for a gas rationing ration-ing book. Application blanks for registration regis-tration may be obtained at any time from the rationing clerk, Miss Margaret Lee, at her office, or from the school during registration regis-tration days. Since the application applica-tion blank must be filled out by the car owner and must contain scription of the car, serial number of the tires, and other statistical information, it is urged that passenger pas-senger car owners procure application appli-cation blanks from the rationing office, or from garages or service stations, and have them filled out and ready to present at the school during the registration days. Registration at the school will tie from 3:30 to 9:00 o'clock p.m. on November 12 and 13 and from 10:00 o'clock a.m until 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Saturday, November 14. V |
