Show o Youngsters Doing ! Fine AtjC.M.T.C. Lectures on qualities of leader ship and citizenship given by offi- ; cers of the Citizen's Military ; Training camp and the opportunity of cadet officers completed the first eight days of army life for ! the 232 trainees now at Fort Doug- j las. ; All young men attending camp wore in perfect condition, Major ' Hammond announced, and the health of the camp was excellent. : Interior guard duty was given to: the young men and will continue for the duration of the camp. A regimental parade will be held on the parade grounds Friday, July1 10, in which the Citizens' Military, Training camp will be the 4th bat- talion. This parade will be viewed j by hundreds of town people andj will be a colorful affair. 1 Sports are well under way, all ' boys are fighting for the wonderful wonder-ful aw ards and medals that have ' been collected for the winners in 1 all the different sports. More competition com-petition than ever before has been . noticed this year. ' |
