Show j MILFORD RELIEF SOCIETY I MARKS ANNIVERSARY i The Milford Ward Relief Society ! Presidency entertained the mem-i mem-i bers Tuesday afternoon, March 12, in observance of the anniversary of the organization. President Gertrude Fisher welcomed wel-comed all and announced the program. pro-gram. The opening number was the Relief Society Anniversary Song, led by Carrie McKnight. The balance of the program was: Invocation, Edith Osborne. Song, "The Work We Are Called to Do." A violin solo, "The Garden, Dance," beautifully rendered by Marel Horton, accompanied by Anna Mae Grimshaw. Cora Jones ;ve two humorous Irish rendings, and Mrs. Watts, mother of Mrs. Leonard Bowen, gave three humorous readings which were very much t-nioyed by all. After visiting a while, the guests were .seated around the tables and a delicious luncheon was served by the presidency and their, committee Mrs. Emma Smith offered thanks; at the table for the 37 persons in at t endanr. |
