Show CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NOTES j "God" is the subject of the Lesson-j ! sermon which will be read in First1 : Church of Christ, Scientist, of Mil-j ford, on Sunday, January 7. I Among the scriptural citiations which form a part of these services , is Exodus 33:20 which follow: "And I he (God) said. Thou canst not see i my face: for there stall no man see1 ! me, and live." j Also included in this lesson-sermon ; are the following correlative pas-! pas-! sages from "Science and Health wit!: i Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baged Eddy: "Question What i.- God ? Answer God is incorporeal, j divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, ! Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love ! That God is a corporeal being, nobody no-body can truly affirm . . . Christian Science strongly emphasizes the thought that God is not corporeal, but incorporeal, that is, bodiless. Mortals are corporeal, but God is incorporeal" in-corporeal" (p. p. 465, 140, 116.). |
