The hot weather that Beaver has been having is working a hardship on cattle, vegetation and even the re.-i-dents. Louis, the little son of Mr. andj Mrs .Otto Schw.jb, is spending ten; days at Milford with his aunt, Mrs.! D. M. Griffith, anil other relatives. Mrs. Hattie Hunter of Provo is in Beaver, visiting her father, John Skinner, and other relatives. 1 The canning project for Beaver has been approved anil work started last Friday morning with a full force of women at work. Dozens of quarts of early vegetables were canned and an even larger run is signed up for this week. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Valentine and children returned to their home in Los Angeles last Wednesday after a two weeks vacation visit with Mr. Valentine's paients, Mr. and Mrs. George Valentinp, and other relatives. rela-tives. o |
