Show Salt Lake Doctor Pleased Dr. J. J. Weir of Salt Lake spent Monday and Tuesday in Milford in accordance with his announcement! last week in The News, and expressed himself as well-pleased with the community and with the reponse of the people to his invitation to consult con-sult with him. Dr. Weir, for several years associated with the Loma Lin da sanatorium, well known and highly high-ly reputed California institution, is a man of pleasing personality and one who inspires confidence in his professional ability and sympathetic understanding of the ills to which these mortal bodies are heir. The doctor recently purchased 640 acres of ground in South Milford and will probably take up his residence in Milford at a later date, giving to local practice all but a portion of his time to be devoted to supervising farm operations to be assumed by a grown son who will come to Milford. Mrs. Weir accompanied the doctor here and is similarly well impressed with the community, despite the stormy weather which they encountered encoun-tered while here. |
