Show ! Blake Leaves For City H. J. Blaks, superintendent of construction con-struction at the Desert Range Experiment Ex-periment station in Pine valley for a little over a year, left Saturday for his home in Salt Lake City and asked The News to express to local people his appreciation for many kindnesses land courtesies extended him and 'friendships created while he had been in our midst. Mr. Blake, a former j Union Pacific right of way engineer, came here immediately following the arrival of the first ,C. C. C. recruits l a year ago this spring, and has had j charge of the extensive construction program in Pine valley since that I time. A hugh area of desert range is under fence and a group of modern bungalows, office, laboratory and shop buildings, barn and other structures appear where only shad-scale shad-scale existed before his going there. I There remains one small building to ;be erected and about 25 miles of subdivision sub-division fencing to be done. Earl Yersin of Garrison will supervise this fencing.
