Show CHILDREN USE SOAP BUT NOT ON NECKS Two evenings of Hallowe'en observance ob-servance this week saw no attempts at rowdyism or destruction of property. pro-perty. A few social affairs were had, and the youngsters had their fun by parading in masks on the street. Youthful wraiths were observed, of course, to be marking on plate glass windows with soap. This activity was received indulgently perforce by older old-er people, although a few smiled disgustedly, dis-gustedly, doubtlessly reminiscing of the days when Hallowe'en were Hallowe'ens. |
