Show LEGION PLAY HAS f AN ALLTAR CAST A bit o' the blarney is indicated in the cast of characters for the play "The Absent-minded Bridegroom," which will be presented in Milford Saturday evening, March 15, at the school auditorium. Those chosen to take part are: Leroy Luken, as Timothy Ti-mothy Shay, Leonard Bowen, Pat Rooney, Dave Heslington, Jim Roon-ey; Roon-ey; C. R. Grimshaw, Fred Grady, Tom Johansen, Slade the Detective, Mrs. Lamar Outzen, 'Daphney Rooney, Roon-ey, Mrs. Dave Heslington, Nora Shay, Mrs. Forti, Kathlene jO'Con-nors, jO'Con-nors, Mrs. Tom Johansen, Tessie Connors. Three small children also have parts in the play. The play is presented under the auspices of the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary. Its Irish flavor will go well with the date of presentation, which is immediately imme-diately preceding St. Patrick's Day. It is also planned to present the play in Minersville on Friday the 7th. The cast has been working hard, planning originally to give the play here the first week in March but thae date was changed to a later day so as not to conflice with the other home-talent production, "Aunt Lucia." Lu-cia." This has given the actor's more time for rehearsals, for which the use of the school stage has been secured at various times. The cast is just about the best that could be selected in Milford, so a very high grade entertainment en-tertainment is assured the public. n . |
