Show I S. W- STOKER FUNERAL HELD AT SPANISH FORK The funeral of Stephen W. Stoker, J of Milford, who died in Salt Lake, Sept. 30, was held in Spanish Fork Sunday. Among those from Milford, in addition to the immediate family, who attended the services in Spanish Fork were C. T. Martin, George Jefferson, Jef-ferson, Mrs. H. C. Hearns, Mrs. Gertrude Ger-trude Dewey, Mrs. Rhoda Stewart, Mrs. Audray Raines, Miss Ruby Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, and Mrs. Lee Gray. Mr. Stoker was a son of William and Martha Larsen Stoker, he was born in Spanish Fork, October 6, 1882. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emily Maud Fereday Stoker; two sons and a daughter: Wayne Stoker, Winchester Bay, Ore.; Owen W. and Lillian Stoker, Milford; three grandchildren, his aged mother, and six brothers and sisters: Michael Stoker, Salt Lake; A. Marinus Stoker, Stok-er, Hoquiam, Wash.; Mrs. Elizabeth Houghton, Mammoth; Mrs. Eleanor Cutler, Idaho Falls, Idaho. After his marriage in 1901 they lived in Mammoth eight years, moving mov-ing then to Milford, where they had since made their home. Mr. Stoker at ont time was engaged engag-ed in Billiard hall business in this city, and had served one term as postmaster. post-master. He had followed the mining business the greater part of the twenty years spent in Milford, although al-though the last few years he had been engaged in painting and decorating. He was a good citizens and had a host of friends in Milford and vicinity who extend to the bereaved family the deepest sympathy. |
