Show ! PEOPLES rGRUM ! BOULDER DAM Los Angeles is going to add 1,000, 000 people to their city in the next five years and we are their back-door neighbor and they need our raw materials ma-terials and produce. Just think what this means to Utah to have the linul-edr linul-edr Dam constructed! Who is goirif to feed these peoplo? Just think of this great market right here at our back-door think of the train-loads or produce thnt southern Utah could furnish them from the fertile soils and underground waters which have not yet been touched 1 California can consume every acre of farm produce that can be raised in Utah and then not know it was coming in. Let's wake up! Where are there greater opportunities than here? In my opinion, opin-ion, the construction of Boulder Dam means as much to Utah as to any state in the Union. Let's take advantage of it. What has Nevada to offer the home seeker and the thousands of people coming West seeking investments? Nothing! What has Utah to offer? Everything! No doubt you saw in the Salt Lake Tribune the other day where California Cali-fornia produce men were in the Gunnison Gun-nison and Sevier valleys to contract all the different classes of produce available and are going east every day into other states doink the same thing. UTAH BOOSTER. |
