The show was repeated at Milford Moil- day evening. The songs and jokes were given with a zest seldom seen in an amat-ur performance. The six end-men propounded pro-pounded jokes that were fre.-h and new and they were all truly funny with their chicken and banjo etur.ts and tricks. Tr.e interlocutory' w-ork of Ambrose Diton deserves special mention and the solos sung by the boys were praiseworthy. The artistic clogging of the 'Two Black Crows' and step danc-iirg danc-iirg by a respectable colored gentle-, man pleased the audience greatly. Iiincipal Coffman, who has trained train-ed the Glee Club and who conducted the show, deserves gerat credit for so plendid a performance from a j small high schol. Mrs- Ed Murdock assisted at the piano and her services were much appreciated by the school. The Telluride Power company loaned loan-ed the stage lights which added much to the stage effects. The beautiful i new drop curtain, which has just been hung, helped to make an alto-, gether pleasing setting. |
