Show VETERAN RAILROAD MAN PASSES ON FATHER OF MILFORD ENGINEER DIES IN BEAVER FRIDAY Funeral services were held Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon for Patrick White who passed away this week after a lingering linger-ing illness. Mr. White was the father of William White, Milford railroad man. He was a native ot Ireland, Dorn in Belfast in 1848. At the time of his death, he was 80 years, 5 months and 6 days old. He came to this country sixty-four years ago, and spent his early days in Kansas. Mr. White was a veteran railroad i man and was in tne employ ui uie Sante Fe railroad for twenty-five years. He also worked for the Union Pacific. For the past five years, he had resided in San Francisco. He leaves two sons, William, the oldest, who is an engineer living in Milford, and Charlie, who is with the 70th Air Service Squadron in Riverside, River-side, California. The funeral services were in charge of Harry Ward. Railroad associates of Mr. White's older son were the pall bearers. |
