Show MAYOR URGES THAT CITIZENS SUPPORT RED CROSS WORK TWELFTH ANNUAL ROLL CALL STARTS Urging all Milford citizens to prove their allegiance to the American Red Cross, Mayor 0. F. Hubbell issues a proclamation naming the period between be-tween now ami Thanksgiving as dates for the organization's Twelfth Annual An-nual Roll Call, in which the local chapter is expected to enroll 125 members mem-bers for 1929. The excellent program of Public Health nursing and Home Hygiene which has been arranged through the co-operation of the School Board with i the local chapter and the National j Red Cross is beginning immediately-Milford immediately-Milford is taking a part through I this program to l-aise its health stan-i stan-i dards. This is only one of the many 1 services our chapter is ready to give. ! Mayor Hubbell says "It is of utmost ut-most " importance that the response here and throughout the nation shall be such that it will meet the great organization's needs. I urge therefore, there-fore, that every citizen at this time renew his allegiance to the "Greatest Mother." |
