Show VETERANS INITIATE EIGHT NEW MEMBERS A supper dance followed the initiation initia-tion of eight candidates to the Veterans Veter-ans of Foreign Wars at a meeting of the organization held last Tuesday evening a tl. 0. 0. F. Hall. George Fitzgerald, past commander, command-er, administered the oath to the new members and Sam Cline, commander of the American Legion, who was a guest at the meeting, spoke, paying tribute to the Veterans. After the initiation, the members were joined by the ladies and the guests, and the rembinder of the evening was spent in dancing. During Dur-ing the evening, the rumor of the1 engagement en-gagement of Miss Arvilla Muir to William Hansen was verified. (Candidates initiated were: L. B. Waddingham, William Hansen, L. E. Chilton, Jay Jeffers, 0. W. Mitchell, Walter Vincent, Joseph Hanlon and Joseph Rickerson. Five other members will be initiated at the next meeting. They are: William Wil-liam Dawson, Bill White, Lee Gray, Don Riley and Bud Galnouer. n |
