Indian Lands For Sale INHERITED AND NON-COMPETENT INDIAN LAND The following described Indian allotments, on the Uintah & Ouray reservation in the Uintah basin in Northeastern Utah, are offered for sale at the Uintah & Ouray Aegncy, Fort Duchesne, Utah. All will be sold subject to the regulations of the Department of the Interior governing the sale of Indian lands. Full Information Infor-mation as to theterms of the sale will be found below, be-low, and any further information may be obtained by addressing the Superintendent, Fort Duchesne, Utah. Purchasers are hereby notified that the patent covering cover-ing the lands will contain the following restriction: "And there is reserved from the lands hereby granted a right-of-way thereon for ditches and canals construct' ed by the authority of the United States." . The cot of advertising, being from $ 1.50 to $2.50 for each tract offered, will be borne by the purchaser. Some of these lands are under lease, and will be sold subject, to the . existing lease. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, as may bo deemed best for the interests of the Indians or of the United States. Parties desiring to inspect the land may reach the reservation either over the Uintah Railroad to Watson, Utah, or over the Denver & Rio Grande to Helper, Utah, or over the Denver & Rio Grande to Price, Utah. Automobile stage service may be had from each of these points daily to nearly all parts of the reservation. Further information concerning these lands, or concerning lands for lease, will be furnished upon application ap-plication to Albert H. Kneale, Superintendent, Fort Duchesne, Du-chesne, Utah. In some coses only a portion of the tract advertised is Irrigable under the government system. In such cases a water filing and carrying capacity only for the portion irrigable are Included with the land.. The government reserves the rights to any part of the water filed on for any area of such land as may not be irrigable under its systems, or upon which the purchaser may not make beneficial use by irrigating the irrigable part of such lands. Water has been filed upon for every acre of this land. The irrigation system is practically complete, and laterals are constructed to nearly every tract advertised. The terms on all of these tracts are: Ten percent with the bid, fifteen percent within thirty days after the acceptance ac-ceptance of sale by the Indians, the balance in three annual payments, In one, two, and three years, with interest at six percent. Purchasers may pay the full amount due at any time, thus saving the interest. BIDS OF LESS THAN THE APPRAISED PRICE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
