The evening was spent playing play-ing games, dancing, roasting spring chicken and eating. Friday morning morn-ing rhe telephone wires were buzzing as a prominent man of Oasis was trying try-ing to locate his white rooster. .Mrs. Jane Rappleye and Mrs. Annie An-nie Hyatt have been visiting their sister Mrs. John Styler the past week. Letitia Williams, Annie Stans-worth, Stans-worth, Allen Pedersen and Leon Jackson motored to Salt Lake City in a Ford, Friday, to spend the week end. Mrs. J. C. Hawley has returned from Salt Lake City, where she spent a few davs. . . . J. C. Hawley and Herman Pedersen Peder-sen have gone to Provo to attend the Bankers' Convention. Miss Bessie Crowman and Joe Fi-dell Fi-dell were married in Fillmore Wednesday Wed-nesday morning. We extend our best wishes to the newlyweds. Peter Anderson and family have left for Salt Lake for an extended visit to relatives. |
