Show DESERET NEWS. Misa Belva Western entertained Tuesday evening at dinner in compliment com-pliment to the following guests: Misses Norma Moody, Elvera Watson, Wat-son, Hazel Walsh, Ellen Davis, Lea-tha Lea-tha Wright and Messrs. W. A. Wood, and D. O. Harris. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Bennett went to Nephi Saturday to attend the funeral of Robert Scott, an old-time old-time resident of this place. Mr. James McRae of Colbran, Colorado, Col-orado, was a visitor this week. Mrs. Jos. V. Black has been confined con-fined to her bed the last week. Dr. Smith is in attendance and reports that she is improving. M. M. Johnson of Salt Lake i3 in town making preparations to put another an-other one of his farms in Oasis under un-der cultivation. He ha3 always been good booster for the country. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Palmer are visiting In Ely, Nevada. The Misses Hazel Walsh, Norma Moody and Ellen Davis were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Sorenson's Friday evening The center-piece and place cards were carried out in Easter designs. Mr. W. A. Wood spent the weekend week-end in Leamington. o Work on the new Cooper Hotel is progressing very favorable. The brick work is nearing the top of the first story, and the building is beginning be-ginning to shape up. o The water .situation; appears to have received quite a benefit from the recent rains, for the reservoir has been filled by them up to the "iy2 foot level, which is quite satisfactory. satis-factory. o The editor was called to Mountain Home, Idaho, to attend the funeral of his brother. |
