Show A SUGGESTION TO THE COMMERCIAL CLUB. Milford has put over a stunt that is chuck full of merit, and one that appeals so strongly as a pattern for Delta to follow that is is respectfully put up to the Delta Commercial Club as a suggestion. A Demonstration Farm is to be bought by the Union Pacific Railway Company, operated by them, and no stint of money to make of it the model farm of the region. It will be fully developed and the U. P. Id not one to do this by halves; it will grow every conceivable crop adapted to that climate; it will have accurate records of the different yields from each treatment. Responses will be tabulated and results broadcasted as much as may be. This would be so valuable an adjunct ad-junct to Delta that The Chronicle wishes some one in proper authority would secure the very same thing here. What a showing that would make! What a help It would be! A farm farmed without stint of money, farmed to highest productively produc-tively for show; the highest expression ex-pression of farming In our falley and done for us, not at our expense is it not worth going after? |
