Show SCIPIO SCISSELS Blanche Robins, who has spent the past year in Salt Lake City, is home again, visiting relatives and friends. - Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Taylor, of Provo, visited Carl Peterson and fam-il fam-il last week. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Quarnberg, March 3, a daughter; on March 7, to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Quarnberg, a daughter. Yes, the new girls are fire: cousins. All doing nicely. The Holden Dramatic Club was here in full regalia Monday night. Further details later. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Ward, of Mills, have bought the David Evans home and moved into it. They gave a big house-warming party and dance on Monday night to neighbors and relatives, rela-tives, and from the hours they kept we'll say the've established a Linger Longer club. M. M. Steele, Jr., of Delta, the County Road Commissioner, was here last Friday attending to road mat-iers. mat-iers. Mrs. Mell Lewis of Provo is visiting visit-ing relatives here. Agnes Esklund is visiting her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Esklund. Mrs. Golden Hansen, of Sigurd, ia visiting relatives here. W. R. Thompson went to Hinckley Hinck-ley Sunday last. Christopher Nielson, who sold out his farm here a year ago and went to Pocatello, Idaho, has come back to Scipio to spend his remaining years. Having purchased the two south lots of David Evans' property, Mr. Nielson Niel-son intends to build a cosy little home and enjoy the even tenor of his days. Our veteran fisherman is wintering in California. Morrill Mathews has returned from Provo, having completed the midwinter course at the B, Y. U. Mrs. Mary Probert has returned from a visit to her sister Mrs. Peter Gronning at Delta. |
