Show STEEL MILL NOTES James F. Chesley showed members of the Delta Commercial Club's Steel Committee a pamphlet gotten out by associated manufacturers using steel products which contained the statements state-ments that the Utah Steel Co. of Midvale, Utah, let a contract on April 28 to M. J. McKeene & Co., engineers of Cleveland, Ohio, for $500,000 worth of blast furnace construction, equipment and materials, mater-ials, with delivery to be made within with-in sixty days on the site chosen for construction, but which site as yet had not been determined upon. The Utah Steel Co promises Millard Mill-ard County's Steer Committee that they would check up Millard County against Salt Lake County, and if it was found that advantages were to be found in Millard County the plant would be erected here. M. M. Steele, Jr. is in Los Angeles on private business, and at his own expense. Mr. Steele is a member of the Delta Commercial Club, and on its Steol Committee. He isi addressing address-ing part of his diplomatic energies to the proposition which has for its object the advertising of Millard County's enormous potentinl wenlth. Mr. Chas. Peppard is home from Kansas City, where he also actively followed the same role as Mr. Steele, he likewise being a member of the Millard County Steel Commute. Contributed. |
