| Show A Final Word Before We Evacuate With this the last issue of the school year we reach the x e end of our journalistic schedule with a tremendous sigh of reli relief re- re li lief f. f Perhaps in no other position on the campus is a student so apt to make enemies and create misunderstanding as editor of the undergraduate newspaper We Ve have demonstrated no partiality throughout the year except perhaps in one case It is and has always been our belief belief be be- lief that a college editor is free to take a stand on any subject which he feels is for the best interests of the student l body ody The only controversial issue in which we drew comment for our stand was taken because we were adhering to to our above stated policy May we express our appreciation to all those who have cooperated cooperated cooperated co co- co- co operated with us us us-or on the campus down town newspapers and to the Century Printing Company printers of the Chronicle for many years Without their combined aid we would have faced excessive excessive trials and tribulations We Ve extend the heartiest of good wishes to the incoming editor and manager and leave them with the thought that no matter how perfect a thing may be there will always be a great number expressing dissatisfaction therefore the only policy to adopt is please is-please please yourself as there are bound to be a maj majority of others who will also agree with what you have done L |
