Show CHANGES IN REVENUE o Mr. Scott Taggart 'phones us that the former law requiring a 2c tax stamp on notes for each $10 0 is repealed; re-pealed; so that hereafter that little detail need not be thought of. Also that on Personal Incomes (not corporations), there is a 25 reduction, effective at once, r.nd that those who have already paid will get back that much, and those paying pay-ing the second installment in June may deduct to make up for it. o - The editor is in receipt of a very nice letter from Mr. and Mr3. John Alvey, at Leamington, in which they state that they are well and hoping the same for the editor and his family. fam-ily. We enjoyed thejr letter very much. o Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Cook were Salt Lake visitors this week. Mrs. Beckwith and children returned from Salt Lake Sunday, where the children have been attending school. o L. D. Pace is away on a vacation. |
