Show SUTHERLAND NEWS. Miss Anna Brown has returned from Salt Lake where she underwent under-went medical treatment and operation opera-tion for goitre. Miss Eris Anderson from Provo is here visiting with Chris Christensen and family. Mrs. R. L. Turner has gone to Salt Lake for an operation. We hope to have her back with us soon. Mrs. Andrew Jones has gone to Salt Lake to attend the Conference and State Fair. The neighbors of R. L. Turner are putting up his crop while ho is in Salt' Lake. Mr. J. E. Rasmussen is opening open-ing up the Sutherland Store, which he calls the Sutherland Mercantile. He has leased the building from W. R. Walker. - The Sutherland M. I. A. officers held their officers meeting at the Abbott home Sunday evening. Miss Bell Martin is attending the Westminster College this term; Mlaa Mabel Foote has returned to the U. of U. and Miss Susie Sanford has gone away to college again. Dr. C. L. Evans of the Alexander Optical Co. of Salt Lake City la coming to your town, equipped with new instruments for making a real examination o the eyes. It will prove well worth while tor any parent par-ent to have their ohildrens' eyes examined ex-amined by this method so as to remove re-move any visual handloaps for the work of the school year. The Dootor will be at Delta, Cooper Hotel, Sunday, Sun-day, October 12th, all day. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Peterson Wednesday. |
