Dear Sir: I thought ycu might be interested in what one of our settlers has accomplished ac-complished since he came into the valley on August 25'h last. Mr. C. A.' Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri, Mis-souri, t-ho had p-aviously purchased eighty acri of land near MeCornick, arrived at MeCornick on the 25th of Augusi as previously stated. He at once hired and purchased two tractors trac-tors r.nd began plowing lane! for himself and his friends who had bought land around him. Up to tho 25th of October he had plowed the following tracts: C. A. Thompson SO acres Frankie Thompson 25 acres G't 6 5 acres Clark 55 acres Cartwright 15 acres Butler 40 acres Miller 40 acres Hodges 40 acres Kimball GO acres Taylor 2 5 acres Wm. Cook 20 acres Total 455 acres The above shows what can be accomplished ac-complished in the short space of olx-ty olx-ty days by a man of euergy and push Mr. Thompson has also succeeded with the help of Mr. S. A. Creeii-wood, Creeii-wood, in disposing of about 3,000 acres to Missouri farmers and has re turned to his home to make additional addi-tional sales.
