Show THE 8TATE FAIR. Tbe S.ite Fair this year was better bet-ter than It baa ever been before. The exhibits were larger, especially In agricultural products, and the at-tewdanco at-tewdanco was r.'.uah ltt'rger. Millard county mtide a better exhibit than ever before, and carried off one first prize, that for alfalfa seed, which was won by Edward liushoell of Meadow. The Keystone ranch In West Delta had a splendid exhibit of corn, which was a surprise to many who believed corn could not be brought to perfection on new land. Ezra Hunker showed some splendid rye. M. A. Abbott' potatoes, S. II. Thompsons beets and Henry Vooihart's winter radlshe were all fine and were good advertisements advertise-ments for the west side. A. M. Roper of Oak City showed some fine tomatoes toma-toes and Sam Dennett of I (olden some dry la ad pears that showed the capacity ca-pacity of that side of the county for 1 fnrlt raising. J. A. Wright of Hlnck- 1 ley showed some mammoth carrots. besides these there were large quan- j tit.es of melons, squash, beets, pots- , toes, wheat, oats, barley and alfalfa from Millard county, but the exhibit- or were unidentified.
