Show DELTA CHURCH NOTES. The Delta Friendly Women met at the cosy home of Mrs. Jennie K. An- ! drews last Thursday afternoon from 3 i to 5. The devotional consisted of the i reading of a passage of scripture and all Joluing In the lord's prayer. Minutes Min-utes of the last meeting were read and i approved. The committee on eonatl- tuilon and by I s reported and the i new by-laws were accepted. Hereafter i the club will meet promptly at 3 p. ni. and close at 5 p. in. Thursday afternoon after-noon of each week. A fine of five cents will be Imposed j upon alt who do not answer at roll call. Sickness being excepted. Also country members ho do not have a way of coming. 1 The first hour of each Bession will be given to business of the society. The second hour for social and lunch- ( eon. Refreshments must consist of only two things and a drink, and cost- , Ing not to exceed one dollar and fifty ; cents. A fine of fifty cents will be Imposed upon any member who exceeds ex-ceeds this amount. Officers shall be j elected for one year and that by ballot. bal-lot. Threw new members were added to j the club. They are Mrs. Samuel, Mrs, liominxon and Miss Sarah Fol-som. Fol-som. The club further agreed to unite their efforts with the other ladies of ;be town in running a stand on the ( July 24 25 for the benefit of the town park. The homes served Ice cream j and cake, which 'as greatly enjoyed. e The society adjourned to meet with Mrs, January and Miss (Kigley at the t January home next Thursday.
