Show Farm larm Bureau Meeting fleeting A special meeting of at the Delta Farm Bureau was held helel In the Opera House l last st Saturday night for Cor the purpose of at hearing hen the tho report o of at County Secretary Cornwall who was the delegate at nt the convention In Logan Lo Lo- La-I La LaIgri gri gan There was waa a good crowd present pres- pres present ent but It was very disagreeable owing to the lights going out and the fires being none too good but nevertheless everybody present was waa very well satisfied Mr Cornwall dwelt at length on the way that the price was arrived at for sugar beets for this year This was done one by taking the different pieces of at work to be done in raising a crop of at sugar beets and putting a price on each eacil part thereby establishing a n price for the actual cost per acre for producing a crop of at beets Interest on capital invested taxes insurance etc were added then the average tonnage of at beets per acre was considered and thereby the price of at per ton was arrived arrived arrived ar ar- ar- ar rived at This price Is based on sugar at 1745 wholesale f f. f o o. o b b. b seaboard seaboard seaboard sea sea- board points For each lOc increase in the price of at sugar above the 74 the farmer is to receive 12 c per ton extra for his beets Mr J. J P.
