Show Promoted ... ! ' 1 , V AN EIGHTH AAF BOMBER STA TION, England The promotion of Alvin C. Warnick, 23, from the grade of sergeant to Staff Sergeant Serge-ant has been announced by the Eighth AAF Headquarters in England. Eng-land. Staff Sergeant Warnick is a member of the ground echelon of a Flying Fortress squadron at an Eighth air force base in England. He is the son of Parley Warnick, rural route No. 1, Delta, Utah. Charles G. Warnick, S 2C, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Warnick of Delta, writes that after he left Madison, Wisconsin where he attended at-tended Radio School and spent about six months in the hospital, he was transferred to Philadelphia, Penn. He was stationed there a-bout a-bout three weeks and was then transferred to Norfolk, Va., where he is now stationed. Delbrt Bradfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Bradfield phoned his wife from a hospital in Mississippi. He had injured his back and may have a furlough soon. S 1C Bob Oppenheimer is home on a 15-day leave with his folks Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Oppenheimer. Bob is stationed at Corpus Christi, Texas. Lieut. Grant T.
