Show Homer Christenen Picked As 2nd "Preferred Man" PROVO, UTAH Mr. Homer Christensen, of Delta, was selected as next most prefered man by the coeds of Brigham Young University in the recent balloting for the annual an-nual Preference Ball at the University. Uni-versity. More than 800 coeds cast their ballots in the recent election to determine the most prefered man in the student body of more than 4300. San Gwilliam, of Baker, Oregon, was first place winner. Mr. Christensen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Christensen, of Delta. Del-ta. He is a graduate of Delta High School, where he took an active part in all student body activities. He attended Dixie Junior College at St. George, where he served as Student Body President. He also served as a Stake Missionary for Deseret Stake. At Brigham Young University, Mr. Christensen is enrolled in the college of Arts and Sciences, where he is majoring in Geology. He is also director of the Brigham Young University Public Service Bureau, and a counselor in the Student Sunday School Organization on the campus. |
