Show School News . . . Institute AH the teachers will go to Salt Lake City Thursday afternoon for teachers' institute, attending meetings meet-ings Thursday and Friday This is the first institute held since wai began. School will let out Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. Assemblies Education week will be observed at the Delta High School during the week of November 5-11, witr the presentation of a short assembly assem-bly each day, under the directior of Grant Snow, Glen -Seegmiller Golden Black, Marvin Moody anc J. H. Snow. To carry out the general gen-eral theme, "Education for New Tasks," a sub-theme has been outlined out-lined for each day's program, a; follows: Monday, Winning the War Tuesday, Improving Schools foi Tomorrow. Wednesday, Developing an Enduring En-during Peace. Thursday, Preparing for the New Technology. Friday, Educating All the People We are always happy 1o have our parents and patrons visit oui school programs. We extend at invitation to everyone to attenr these assemblies, as they will be interesting as well as informative The Delta High School will have the honor of having Dr. Paul Pop onoe with us in the near future He is the director of the America! Institute of Family Relations, anc will lecture here Nov. 14. Gyp Dance Successful The Art and the Agricultural de partmenls have money to carp them through the season, due tc the succeses of the Gyp Dance anc - Carnival. Those who attended i have a memory of one of the bes affairs of the year.
