J died at his family home near Sutherland on Tuesday at the age of 78 from causes incident to age He lIe had been failing for some months and the end was not unexpected Mr had been a farm farmer r rin in that district for the past twenty- twenty five years preceding that time he had lived in Salt Lake City in Bingham Alta Alia and other mining amps camps He was a bookkeeper by trade and went into business for himself in the mining camps On one such occasion a fire destro destroyed ed his entire stock and building and did him much damage He owned even at the time of his death mining mining min mining min min- ing claims inherited from his fa father father father fa- fa ther and had lived for many years ears earsin in mining camps In Salt Lake City he was associated associated associated asso asso- with Bros in the liquor business and also was an official in the Glade Candy Candy Candy Can Can- dy company Mr was of oC English parents parents parents par par- his father having been in the foundry business Mr was wasa a man of high ideals and strove to live his aspirations He was a areader areader areader reader of the best books and pe pe- pe- pe his favorites to the point of memorizing the noblest He was kindly living above ill will to any and sought the freedom of farm life rather than the artificiality of city residence Ife Ue is survived by his widow Mrs Mary Ellen Cooper two sons John K of Los Angeles Angeles Angeles An An- geles Calif Call and Frank A.
