E Dutson who has served as bishop for 14 years together with his counselors and presidents of auxIliary auxiliary auxiliary iary organizations was released Romulus Shields was sustained as new bishop of the Sugarville Ward with H Harold rold Jensen as first counselor He has not chosen a second counselor Bishop George Jensen who has served in the Sugarville Sugarville Sug Sug- arville bishopric since 1926 was re re- re leased I The Abraham Ward which has been unable to even hold meetings I for months was dissolved Bishop John W. W Fullmer and his counselors were released The few members who are still living in Abraham have been transferred to the Sutherland Sutherland Sutherland erland Ward The morning general session opened with the Hinckley choir singing The Morning Breaks prayer was offered by Jay Nelson followed by a la ladies ladies la- la dies chorus We Ever Pray for or Thee Mrs Pearl Snow stake M. H Morris in a short talk expressed how hw we accept all truth no matter where it may be found as truth forever Mrs Rulon T T. Hinckley told of th the friendly spirit of our gospel and her thankfulness of being a member Mrs Ward Moody made a plea piea for or parents to come out to church and for the Uw young people to carry carryon on in righteousness Mrs Herman g gave a v e her testimony of the gospel and expressed expressed ex ex- pressed her thankfulness for it Schyler Gardner said he was glad to get back to Delta and said he appreciated the opportunities he had been given Bishop Marvin Lovell said he was following the advice he had al always always always al- al ways been given given to to never turn down a responsible position in the church Romulus Shields said he appreciated appreciated elated the chance to fulfill the position position po po- po- po as Bishop of a ward Ladd Cropper sang a solo entitled entitled en en- titled It tt was for me accompanied ed by Mrs Cropper Bishop George Jensen expressed his appreciation of the help he had received while in the bishopric from rom the ward members Bishop Willis Dutson said It is isa isa isa a big responsibility to be a bishop and to be a success you must be bea a praying man He closed by bearing bearing bearing bear bear- ing his testimony Elder Nicholas G.
