| Show Will Leave Saturday for or State Track Meet Bob Black Phil Finlinson Wayne Turner and Merritt NIelson will go goto goto goto to Provo Saturday to attend the annual state meet The meet has been held in Salt Lake in the past but was moved to Provo this year because of the more central loca loca- tion The state association will pay the expenses of Black and Turner as they won first place In their events Black won first place in the pole vault and Turner first place in inthe inthe inthe the discus Nielson and Finlinson both placed second in their events and although they can participate in the state meet they must pa pay their own expenses Finlinson placed placed placed ed second in the hurdles and Nielson Nielson Nielson Niel Niel- son second in the mile run |
