Show Baby Drowned Jo Ann Draper the months 15 old baby baby baby ba ba- ba- ba by of Mr and Mrs Lawrence Draper of Hinckley was accidentally drowned In their open well in back of their home late Tuesday afternoon The mother was feeding hers her five months old child and heard her oldest boy screaming She ran out of the house and sai said the screaming sounded as though It was coming from Webbs Webb's corrals so she ran in that direction only to discover it was coming from irom Johnsons Johnson's corrals in the opposite di direction di- di so she ran back The boy was crying and screaming so hard all he could say was Joan in ditch Knowing Knowing Knowing Know Know- ing the only around was at Johnsons the neighbors a distance of nearly two blocks she got half wa way there before the child blurted out No our ditch Mrs Draper then knew it was their well so she ran back to their place She pulled the baby out and started applying artificial After she had worked with the child for some time she took it in her arms and ran two blocks to Vernon Loves service station Aid was summoned summoned summoned sum sum- and a crowd soon gathered Men who had first aid training and Dr Wright worked on the child for four hours applying artificial respiration They finally gave up at at night The mother said she knew the child was dead when she took it out of the I well vell She said It all seemed like a few minutes but the child must really have been in the well at least fifteen ml minutes flutes Funeral services were held in the Hinckley ward chapel Thursday at 2 p. p m. m Speakers were Arthur Reeve Bishop Harold R.
