Show srviiftftLANii... BY GLORIA WALKER Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rollins and son, Craig, from Ames, Iowa are here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Avon Barney . Miss Merle Barney of Provo came down for the week end to visit with the family. Miss Ber.niece Erickson of Smith-field Smith-field is visiting here with her sister, sis-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Jones. Mr. and Mrs. John Adams have had their granddaughter, Beverly, visiting them for the past two weeks. Her parents arrived here Monday for a visit and will take Beverly home with them. Her mother mo-ther is the former Mary Adams. Mrs. Sadie Christensen and daughter, dau-ghter, Louise and Lorene Stewart of Aurora, Mr. Collier Lovell and Mr. Nephi Anderson of Oak City visited with Hazel Walker and fam ily Sunday. The Primary organization was reorganized at meeting Sunday evening. ev-ening. New officers are Ann Hales president; Betty Johnson, 1st counselor, coun-selor, Vivian Ekins, second counselor; coun-selor; and Beth Kimber, secretary. Outgoing officers are Nina Johnson, John-son, Trula Abbott, and Dora Rose. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Walker motored mot-ored to Salt Lake City Saturday to take their son, Lt. John Walker, to Hill Field where he took a plane for his home base at Samson, Sam-son, New York. Mr. and Mrs. Walker Wal-ker returned home Monday. Mrs. Melba June and daughters visited several days last week with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Johnson. Mr. June came Friday and Sunday the family returned re-turned to their home in Salt Lake. Mrs. DeJoy Finken and family arrived here on the 24th of July for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Armond Ogden. Also arriving ar-riving at the same time was their son, Harold, who is home on a 30 day leave from his base at Oakland. Oak-land. Tuesday, Mr. and Mrs. Ogden and Mrs Finken and children drove to Salt Lake City where they met DeJoy's husband, Victor, who will visit here for a few days before the family returns to their home in Iowa. Miss LaVon Barney spent Monday Mon-day in Salt Lake City. She drove there with Clair Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Johnson were hosts to Mrs. Johnson's family at a reunion at the family home Monday. Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Owen Benson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McEwen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Overson and afmily, Mr. and Mrs. Lile Johnson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Williams and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Burn-ham Burn-ham and family. Members from here attending were Lester, Bert, and Max and their families. Mrs. Johnson's sisters from Oak City also attended. They were Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Roper and Mrs. Lydia Finlinson. A program was held and a big dinner served after The evening ev-ening was spent visiting and reviewing re-viewing old times. |
