Show MRS. MERRILL MILLER Mr. and Mrs. John Askey and 'Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Tippetts o'f Los Angeles, California and Mr. Lee Lawrence of Cedar City were visitors at the Black Rock ranch. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mount of Salt Lake City stopped at Black Rock Ranch on their way to their home alter a vacation mi Southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Skinner of Beaver were guests of Mr. and Mrs Hampton Burke. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dearden and Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden of Garrison, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 'Murdock of Milford, visited the Black Rock Ranch. They spent a great deal of time stuck in the mud and 'finally Joe Murdock had to walk to Black Rock to get help in getting them out. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Winch and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Some slopped at the Black Rock Ranch for a short visit on their way to their ranch in Waw Waw Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke were in Fillmore as guests of Mr. . and Mrs. Dallas Roeers. Charles Fleming, the weather ob server in Black Rock, reported that for the month of August a total of 1.79 inches of moisture fell at the Black Rock station. The valley certainly shows it too, 'for grass is growing everywhere In fact the hills look more like June than August. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke. Walter Miller and Aldon Avery were in Milford to attend the opening of the American Legion Club House. Gov. J. Bracken Lee was the principle prin-ciple speaker of the event. Mr. and Mrs. G. Nichols of Al-herquerque Al-herquerque were visiting with Mr. and Mrs., Charles Fleming. Also with the Flemings for a short visit is their daughter, Miss Donetta Fleming who has been living in Albequerque fof the past two years. |
