Show Farm Bureau Sets "Talent Find" Run-off Aug. 13 Millard county Farm Bureau "Talent Find" run-offs will be held at Holden August 13, at 8 p. m. The purpose of this project is to encourage rural youth groups to make better use of local talent, and to recognize outstanding talent tal-ent by giving contestants a chance to participate in local, county, state and national conventions, and at county and state fairs. Each local organization in the county will conduct its rum-of'f before be-fore the county meet in" Holden, and two contestants from each organization or-ganization will take part in the county meet. The winners of this contest will have their way paid to the State Fair, where they will participate in a state "Talent Find". The winner win-ner of the state meet goes to the national Farm Bureau convention at Seattle Wash., expenses paid. First and second place winners and six honorable mentions from the county will be asked to take part at Deseret on August 15-16 at the county fair and rodeo. Those eligible to take part in this "Talent r-ina" must De oi age 4 to 28 years; members of Farm Bureau or unmarried children child-ren of Farm Bureau members; resident res-ident ol the county in which entered en-tered for at least 2 months and non-professional. Numbers for the "Talent Find" will include vocals, instrumentals, readings, skits, or folk, tap or square dancing. Those interested locally in entering en-tering are asked to get in touch with their local chairmen who Mrs. Burnis Finlinson at Oak City, Mrs. Waldo Warnick at Hinckley, Mrs. Albert Nickle at Delta, and Mrs. Evan Skidmore, at Sutherland.
