Show Oescrei MRS. ARPRILLA SCOW Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carting, who have spent the winter in California have returned to Deseret where they will make their home. Miss Neva Cropper and mother, Ellen Cropper, from Salt Lake City are spending a few weeks in Deseret. Des-eret. Cecil Warner made a business trip to Salt Lake City Friday. Mrs. Stella Hawley, Marlene and Dale Carling and Mrs. H. S. Cahoon spent the week end in Salt Lake. Mr" and Mrs. R O Gage and children chil-dren from Afton, Texas, are visiting visit-ing at the home of Mr and Mrs. Frank Winfield. Mr. and Mrs. George Cropper and children from Provo spent Friday Fri-day visiting with relatives and friends. Mrs. Bessie Webb was a Salt Lake visitor this week. Mr. and Mrs. Leone Croft and daughter from California are spending spen-ding their vacation at Deseret visiting vis-iting with their parents, Mrs. Eva Croft and Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Anderson. Mr and Mrs Clayton Cahoon and children from Tooele are visiting this week at Deseret The Garden Club held their meet ing Monday evening at the home of Vernell Baker. Plans were made for arrangement of flowers at the Fair. A lovely luncheon was served ser-ved to the group of ladies by Vernell Baker and Fern Warner. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Black and Mr. and Mrs. Oral Black attended funeral services at Holden, Utah, Saturday for Mr. Teeples. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson attended the Riding Club convention conven-tion at Richfield last week end. Elder Stanley Dewsnup who has served a two year mission in Kentucky Ken-tucky for the LDS church arrived home Saturday morning. With him came a couple whom are converts to our church. Mr. and Mrs. Newel Knight, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jensen, and Mr. and Mrs Howard Hardy accompan-panied accompan-panied the queen and her attendants attend-ants for Days of the Old West to Salt Lake City on Friday for a visit with Gov. Lee. We welcome each and everyone to attend the Millard Co. Fair and "Days of the Old West" Rodeo at Deseret Aug. 15 and 16. See you all there. |
