Show 3Ies2ene Turner Meads Auxiliary Sworn in as new president of American Legion Post 89 Ladies' Auxiliary Monday evening was Merlene Turner. Assisting her will be Beth Workman, 1st vice president; pres-ident; Mae Holman, 2nd vice president; pres-ident; Shirley Theobald, sec.-lreas.; La Verne Theobald, historian; Pearl Snow, chaplain and Agnes Black and Mabel Warnick, sergeant-at-arnis. Mrs. Ora Gardner, a past president, presi-dent, installed the new officers under un-der the direction of Mrs. LaVerne Theobald, out-going president. Mrs Barbara Spendlove presented the new officers with poppy corsages. Geraldine Black and Julene Bunker, Bun-ker, Girl Staters, sponsored by the auxiliary, the Rebekahs, the Jolly ouicners, mncKiey Art uiub, Delta high school, and their parents, gave a report on their activities in Logan. Mrs. Zola Bunker played several accordion solos. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. |
