Show Joe S. Young Of Abraham FFA Wins High Honor Joe S. Young, Hinckley chapter Future Farmer of America has been selected as a , candidate for an American Farmer degree. This is the highest honor in FFA, and is limited to one in each 1000 members. Utah has three eligible for the special ceremony next October Oc-tober in Kansas City at the national nation-al convention of FFA. Joe is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Young of Abraham. At the state convention in Salt Lake City last week the Hinckley FFA ' official delegates were Sheldon Shel-don Christensen of Deseret, and Hal Young, Abraham. Two members, mem-bers, Ronald Nielson and Don Morris, Mor-ris, were awarded State Farmer keys. Daryl Cropper was named as alternate for the Standard Oil of California scholarship of $150 to Maylon Erickson, Delta chapter. Dorothy Morris was sweetheart can didate at the convention. |
