Show Oasis Mil La Veda Bishop i Mr. and Mrs. J. Val Styler, Mr.1 and Mrs. Russell Styler and Lucille Farr spent last week end in Beaver Bea-ver visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Messenger and family. Mrs. Mamie Pearson returned to her home in Sandy after visiting with her. brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Gillen the past week. Mrs. Lillian Roundy and daughter, daugh-ter, Erma and son, Paul, Mrs. Ella Christensen and Mrs. LaVeda Bishop Bish-op spent last Wednesday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson drove to Salt Lake last Wednesday to take their daughter, Betty Love, and her son, Tony, who left that afternoon by train to go to Jaclc-sonville, Jaclc-sonville, Fla., where she can be near her husband, who is stationed station-ed there. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson returned re-turned to Oasis that evening. Mrs. Stella Hawley and her daughter, dau-ghter, Marlena spent Saturday in Salt Lake City shopping. Mr. Arlyn Styler from Bountiful came a wek ago last Monday to bring his son, Brent, who stayed to visit his grandparents and Arlyn Ar-lyn went on to St. George and Hurricane to take care of some business. He returned Thursday to pick up his son and return to their home. Mrs. Betsy Skeem has gone to Los Angeles to visit her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Norton. Nor-ton. She went with Mr. and Mrs. Thurloo Wiley. Leland Williams went to Brig-ham Brig-ham City this last week end to get his wife and infant daughter who had been visiting her parents, the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Miller Hall from Wapata, Wash., surprised their relatives re-latives last Friday by paying them a visit. This is their first trip here ina bout 20 years. They stayed at the home of their niece, Lillian Roundy. They also visited with Mrs Hall's brother, Jim Thompson and his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kelly. They left Tuesday Tues-day afternoon to go to California where they will visit some more nieces. Mr. and Mrs. Mann and family from Pasadena, Cal., and Mrs. Jan-netta Jan-netta Boone and son, Marvin of Portland, Ore., are visiting with their mother, Mrs. Jensene Anderson. Ander-son. They arrived Monday and will stay a few weeks. Helen Jean Christensen spent the week end with her parents,. She has been working at Glendale, Nev ada this summer. Elaine Stewart spent Sunday visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Nichols. She returned to her work in Salt Lake City on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Martin and infant in-fant son, also visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Nic- hols. Mr. Martin returned to his home in Salt Lake City and his wife Gloria stayed to visit a week with her mother. Mrs. Dessa Webster from Cedar City came Monday to visit with her daughters, Mrs. Venessa Skeem and Mrs. Cassie Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Don Day and family fam-ily spent Monday in Provo. Marie Giles and her son, Burton; and Laura Black from Fillmore, visited their sister and aunt here. Burton Giles is home on furlough. He is with the air Force and has been stationed at Moffitt field. Now he is getting ready to embark em-bark on a big air craft carrier after af-ter his visit home. Monday evening the Oasis ward held their annual steak dinner in the Canyon. There were about 80 people present. The Robinson family met in Springville Park and held a family reunion last Sunday. Those who at tended from this part of the country coun-try were Mr. -and Mrs. Bob Robinson Robin-son and grand daughter, Gae Marie Mr. and Mrs. Grant Robinson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Robinson. ' Mr. and Mrs. Albert Skidmore and girls, Aldene, Muriel and Peg-by Peg-by and LaVeda Bishop, attended a HutchLng's family reunion in Balsam Park in Springville Canyon, Can-yon, last Saturday.
