Mr and Mrs. Orlan Jacobson and children and sister, Arvilla from Ogden and Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs Devon Roper from Clearfield; Mrs. Leola Dalton and children and sister sis-ter Wanetta. Mr. and Mrs. Norval Anderson and children ana Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Anderson visited in Salt Lake . Mr. and Mrs. joe Atkin went to Salt Lake with ' her mother. She returned to Cedar City Sunday. Mrs. Lydia Finlinson was operated oper-ated on at St. Marks hospital and is now recovering at Dr. and Mrs. Milo Moody's home at Spanish Fork. Mrs. Alice D. Anderson spent the past week at Beaver. Miss Genevieve Anderson is working wor-king in Salt Lake . Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Olson and little son spent a week end at Beaver. I Miss Verna Mae Shipley and friend, Don Drollinger visited with her parents, over the holidays. A MIA party held Tuesday evening even-ing in the canyon was held for honor guests Elders Reece Finlinson Finlin-son and Francis Anderson. A farewell dance and party held Saturday evening for Daryl Talbot and Grant and Glenn Christensen. Daryl leaves Sept. 11 for Fort ORD. The Christensen boys are in the reserves and soon to leave for active act-ive duty. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Anderson and Mrs. Blanchard attended a Blanchard reunion at Fallon, Nev. Florence N. Lyman visited in Oak City Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson have a new son, born in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Finlinson went to Yellowstone and also visited vis-ited in Rexburg, Idaho, with relatives. re-latives. A good crowd of Oak City ball fans attended the game at Levan on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Satur-day, in the invitational meet. Vonetta Jacobson spent a week visiting at Sunset. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Knight, of Idaho Falls, visited over the weekend week-end at the Wixom home. |
