'mi- and Mrs. Raoul Leavitt "Jpie among the many Deltans to general conference in Salt lake City. Mr and Mrs. Brooks Abbott, of rhi'co Cal., were Delta visitors Monday and Tuesday. They were .turning home after attending the general conference in Salt Lake City- Harold Parker, of Uvada is in salt Lake City recovering from a major operation Sept. 26. Mrs. was with him, and is in Delta Jiis week, to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Spor. Mr. and Mrs. Auer Jensen have a new baby in their home in Wend over, the son born to them Sept. Mr and Mrs. J. HLittle, from Pasadena, Cal., were Delta visit- ors this week on their way home trom Oct. conference in Salt Lake City. A son and daughter were with them. Their older son Ken-dall, spent the summer here on the Doyle Berry ranch. Jack Hansen, of Ephraim, is now making his home in Delta and working with his father in the Hansen furniture store. He will move his wife to Delta soon. Couple Marries Im 3SssE!gi Temple Mrs. Vie Mortensen, of Delta, and Blaine Robinson, of Hinckley, were married Thursday, Sept. 29. The ceremony was performed in the Manti temple. Mr. and Mrs. Hobbinson are now in Hinckley, where they are making their home New Paint Put jEB Legion ISsall Members of Post No. 117 Amer-ican Legion, and the Auxiliary, held a work meeting Monday at the Legion hall. Members present were Ruth Leavitt, Mae Welch, Margaret Owens, Irene Eroderick, Phyllis Munster, Betty Day, Vada Van, Louise Allen and Dru Rob-erts, Guests were Alisha Jackson, Donetta Hardy and Leona Works. Ward Moody. The program was under the di-rection of Ada Johnson, on the theme "A Home Evening with our Missionaries". Elders Gardner and Chrislensen gave an interesting pro gram on their travels, experiences and testimonies. Homer served in1 the Hawiian mission and Jay was in the Canadian mission field. Pictures were shown of the Haw-- 1 iian mission, including some of the leper colony. Homer sang a solo, accompanied by his guitar, lay read a poem written by a mis-sionary companion, dedicating it to Mrs. Hanna Larson whose son, Clint is now serving in the Cana-dian mission. Mr. and Mr:;. Paul Hawley have returned to their home in Los An-geles after visiting their mother, Mrs. Zona Hawley in Oasis. Also with friends and relatives in Delta and Sutherland. Mrs. Galloway had visited m Delta with her daughter dur-ing the last of August. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Pace return-ed to Delta Monday, from a week's travel in the east, accompanying J. W. Pace, state liquor commis-sioner and Mrs. Pace, to an NDA convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. Be-sides the stay in Cincinnati, the group made a trip'into Kentucky, and had a stop-ov- in Chicago. CARD OF THANKS . . .
