The forms may be obtained from the Delta postoffice, Millard county offices, of-fices, or your Legion post. The forms are simple, but any veteran wishing help in filling out the forms may see Leonard Vodak or Oz Johnson, commander, Post 89 American Legion. Mr. Johnson stresses one of the instructions on insurance numbers. It reads "If known, list all your National Service Life Insurance policy numbers. If unknown, leave item 7 blank. Please DO NOT write the Veterans Administration for unknown numbers." Also if you have a Claim No. with VA list that. The dividend is not a hand-out, or ,dole, Mr. Johnson John-son said, but a refund of money paid in by the veterans on insurance. insur-ance. And the quicker the applications applica-tions are filled and sent in, the quicker the refund. Checks will probably be received in January. |
