Show Stake Conference To Be Held June 5 And 6 Stake Quarterly Conference will be held in Deseret Stake' Sunday, June 6, announces President Harold R. Morris. The presiding authority will be Bishop Thorpe Isaacson, a member of the presiding bishopric. Bishop Isaacson has asked for a Bishop's Council meeting on Saturday Sat-urday evening, May 5 of all bishoprics bish-oprics in the stake, with the regular regu-lar welfare workers being requested request-ed to be present. Priesthood leadership meeting will be held at 8:00 p. m., and is to be left unprogramed. Youth To Be Honored At the Sunday morning session the youth of the stake are to be honored, with special places reserved re-served for the-' members of the A-aronic A-aronic Priesthood and all girls between be-tween the ages of twelve and twenty. Bishop Isaacson has programed pro-gramed the morning session with topics concerning youth, with an opening address on the problems of youth in this stake being delivered deliv-ered by President Morris. Other topics are in keeping with this theme. Bishop Isaacson will be the principal prin-cipal speaker at the afternoon session. ses-sion. Fast Sunday Observed May 30 Throughout the stake, because of conference being held on regular reg-ular Fast Sunday, the stake presidency presi-dency has announced May 30 as the Fast Day for June. Union meeting will be held in Delta on that day, but because of its being Fast Sunday in the wards, the meetings will be held one hour later than is customary, with the opening session at Union meeting being held at 3:00 o'clock instead of 2:00 o'clock. |
