Show After the Battle Perhaps at this late date it would be somewhat out of place to of offer er congratulations to the newly elected student officers They have probably been worn horn down own by the spOntaneous spontaneous spontaneous spon spon- burst of congratulations and handshakes from their numerous friends friend and political political po po- rivals Although our word of congratulation would come with as pleasant a motive as the rest it would be super super- But the day of the mud bucket is over The time has now passed when we must wear wear boots to wallow around the campus and things are back backon on their normal schedule again Now we must get int into the of the old campus again We Ve must forget our former former forner for for- mer ner political rivals and think that we arc all st students representing representing representing rep rep- resenting the University of Utah and that we are all for the betterment b of the University i. i rather th than n for one one particular group gr up of individuals Some one has spoken of the usual l sour grapes which attend the aftermath of elections But nothing has appeared which would tend tp show that this petty difficulty is prevalent It brings no good and contributes contributes contributes contrib contrib- utes rather to ill feeling than to anything else Then a word to the new nelV of of- of It is hoped that the coming administration will be carried on in as efficient a a manner as has the past That the support of the student body is forthcoming as it has been and lastly that the cooperation i between the students and the student nt body is of such a nature nature nature na na- ture that there will be no friction friction friction fric fric- tion to hinder the innermost workings toward a higher and better Un University of Utah Utah |
