Show 1 FUNERAL OF GEO. ' RIGBY HELD AT LEWJSTON Impressive funeral services were held at Newton yesterday afternoon over the 'remains of George C. Itlgby. well known citizen and former 8her-' iff of Cncftc County. The services' wero largely attended, the meeting Iioubo being filled to over flowing -nlth rolatlves and friends of the departed. de-parted. The services were conducted by the ward bishopric and tuo choir was in attendance.. The services Vommcnced by the choir singing "Hark From Afar." Tho Invocation was offered by C. M. Chrlstensen of Logan. Tho choir followed with "Lord Thou Has Bereft Us." The first Bpeaker was John E. GrltTln who wild that he felt it a prtvelcge to apeak at tho funeral service of a man whom ho had known practically all lila life nd whom he had ever found 1o be a good friend. Ho had labored with him In the dally walks of life and also In religious duties and nev-t nev-t found hm wanting. He was of pleasant disposition, chcernl and congenial, con-genial, alwayH ready to do his part. Mrs. Georgo L. Clark sang In a most feeling manner "Come Unto Me." ' Mr. James A. Mr. Hlgby had attended a funeral i together where Mr. Langton had ''xpoken. Following the services Mr. V v-" Rtgby made the request of Mr. Lang ton that ho speak a.t his funeral, so upon Mr. Rlgby'a death word was went to Mr. Langton and ho came, from Shelley to fulfill his friend's, wish. Ho stated that he had known . the departed many years, that ho had . always found him to lie honest and Hirlghtforward In every detail of his llfo and that ho loved him as a brother. The floral offerings were exceptionally excep-tionally beautiful and came from friends from far and near.
