Show MAY BUILD FISH HATCHERY IN LOGAN CANYON On Wtdnesday evening members of the fish and game committee of , tho Chamber of Commerce, of tuc ( Cache County Fish and Garao asso-1 elation and a number of the Iscal business men went o Logan canyon wjth state fish and game commU-sloner, commU-sloner, Mr. D, II. Madsen aud Mr. Keyscr of Brigham City with tha view of looking over somo proposed slte3 for a state fish hatchery. Commissioner Com-missioner Madsen was' well pleased with the layout tn tho canyon nnd ho promised to recommend that a fish . hatchery be constructed-In Logan I canyon to serr the streams of tho county and northern Utah. The committee com-mittee will wait with much interest . the outcomo of Mr. Madaen's recom- j mendatlons. Mr. Keyser of UrlKhura City stated stat-ed that the people of B6x Llder ( county are with us for a hatchery for Logan canyon and they ar doling do-ling u.11 they can to see that It Is .established The peoplo In that county are and will bo much attract- ' ed to our streams and hunting grounds. This shows a fine spirit of i cooperation on the part of tho Brig-1 him CRy people and tho committee npprerlated Mr. Keyser's presence and enthusiasm. The com-nlssioner com-nlssioner advised the comtnlttee and nembers of the Cache County Fish ind Game Protective association to pet busy at once, secure the proper lease on the property for the site, and ho would send In a requisition tor funds to construct the hatchery. In order to put as much money available In the hatcher' as possible. possi-ble. It Is very probable that the sportsmen or Logan and Cache county coun-ty will bo Invited to gle a day's work In clearing the brush from the site, digging tho foundaton for the building and other preliminary work. (With the proror supervision of the labor it is thought several hundred dollars can be saved to go into tho 'plant.
