Show THE PAYMENT OF TAXES EXTENDED EXTEND-ED TO JC. 11 At tho last board meeting of tho Chamber of Commerco the presidency presiden-cy was Instructed to appoint a com-mltteo com-mltteo to wait upon tho county treasurer and tho officials of the Amalgamated Sugar company and arrange if possible for tho extension of tho final payment of tho taxes until December 11th nnd tho payment pay-ment of tho sugar beet checks on Decomber 9 th Instead of December, 15th. Tho following wore appointed appoint-ed as tho con mltteo; C. M. Chrls-tensen, Chrls-tensen, chairman; II. E. Hatch, Jno. II. Anderson, J. E. Shcpard and Wm. M. Howell. This committee waited on Mr. Georgo Hancey, tho county treasurer, and ho very klnd-1 klnd-1 consented to extend tho time of tho payment of tho taxes until December De-cember 11th Inclusive. Mr. Samuel Chrtstensen, tho representative of the sugar company was also visited, and ho promised that tho beet checks would bo In tho hands of tho beet growers on tho 9th of Decomber. Decom-ber. It goes without with-out saying that tho public will also appreclato tho cooperation of Mr, Hancey, and Sir. Chrlstensen.
